Video A Star Is Born's Lady Gaga Discusses Her Oscars Performance and Win The actor and musician dispels the rumors about her and her co-star/director Bradley Cooper.

After winning her first Oscar for A Star Is Born's "Shallow" February 24, Lady Gaga stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live.

鈥淚 swear when we won, it was like my whole artistic journey flashed before my eyes. I instantly saw myself sitting on my stoop of my studio apartment in New York City on the concrete with my keyboard next to me trying to figure out how I was going to lug my keyboard again on my walk up,鈥� she said. 鈥淭his was hard work.鈥�

She had also been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as Ally in the film.

Gaga also addressed the rumors that she and her co-star and director Bradley Cooper are romantically involved outside of their film. 鈥淧eople saw love, and guess what? That's what we wanted you to see,鈥� she said. 鈥淭his is a love song, 鈥楽hallow.鈥� The movie A Star Is Born, it's a love story. We worked so hard. We worked all week on that performance.

鈥淔rom a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time,鈥� she said of the Oscars performance. 鈥淲hen you're singing love songs, that's what you want people to feel. I'm an artist, and I guess we did a good job. Fooled ya!鈥�
