Cabaret & Concert News Actor-Singer Daniel Koek Will Share His West End Story in NYC July 19 The London actor will make his U.S. cabaret debut at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below.

The Australian-born Daniel Koek makes his U.S. cabaret debut July 19 telling (and singing) the story of his rise to stardom as Jean Valjean in the London production of Les Mis茅rables, and many other roles, in his cabaret show titled West End Story.

He鈥檒l perform songs and stories from his 14-year career, with the help of Betsy Struxness (Hamilton, Matilda), Tam Mutu (Doctor Zhivago), and Alicia Krakauer (NEXT) at the 7 PM concert at Feinstein鈥檚/54 Below.

In addition to performing in his native Australia, Koek has done musical theatre in playhouses across Europe and Asia, playing leading roles in West Side Story, Chess, and South Pacific. But he made a special mark in London, where he became the youngest performer to play Jean Valjean during the long run of Les Mis in that city. He recently released his second studio album, High.
