Sparkplug Productions will give a New York premiere to Adam Szymkowicz's Fat Cat Killers, a comedy about corporate greed. Previews will begin April 24 at the Gene Frankel Theater, ahead of a May 1 opening night. Andrew Block (Clown Bar 2) is set to direct.
Somewhat drawing inspiration from recent headlines, the work follows Michael and Steve as they decide to kidnap the CEO of the company that has just laid them off. The cast will feature Christopher Lee (Clown Bar 2, One Life to Live), David Carl (Hamlet, Trump Lear), and Philip Cruise (Final Boarding Call, Refuse).
The creative team will include production manager Rebekkah Ross, production designer Scott Fetterman, and sound designer and stage manager Tony Lepore.
