Aladdin's Telly Leung, recently seen in a revised musical version of Ang Lee's Oscar-nominated 1993 film The Wedding Banquet in Taiwan, will debut a new solo concert at the renovated Laurie Beechman Theatre next month.
The Glee star will premiere Sing or Die May 17-18 at the New York cabaret. The new solo show is billed as "equal parts soul-stirring and spirit-lifting."

Sing or Die is described as a celebration of survival through song. Attendees can expect a mix of Broadway and pop tunes.
Leung's Broadway credits also include Rent, In Transit, Pacific Overtures, Allegiance, Godspell, and Flower Drum Song. He was also seen in the most recent season of the streaming series Warrior.
