Grammy and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Bette Midler, who will star in the upcoming Broadway revival of Hello, Dolly!, will appear at the 92Y October 17 in a special 7 PM conversation with Oscar and Grammy winner Carole Bayer Sager.
Sager, who co-wrote such songs as 鈥淣obody Does It Better,鈥� 鈥淒on鈥檛 Cry Out Loud鈥� and the Broadway musical They鈥檙e Playing Our Song, has recently completed her memoir, also titled They鈥檙e Playing Our Song, which hits stores October 18.
The 92Y event promises a look back at Sager鈥檚 life and career.
Midler will star as Dolly Levi in the Jerry Herman musical Hello, Dolly!, which will begin Broadway previews March 15 at the Shubert Theatre.
