Tony-nominated dancer-singer-choreographer Brenda Braxton is hosting and co-starring in a summertime weekly performance of the audience-participation murder-mystery show Villain: DeBlanks, running each Wednesday at The Green Room 42 nightspot in Manhattan.
Described by creator Billy Mitchell as 鈥�Clue meets adult Mad Libs,鈥� Villain: DeBlanks asks the audience to provides nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc. to tell the story of Philip DeBlanks鈥� untimely demise. The performers act out the resulting script.
The series boasts rotating casts that change weekly. Guests for the include Trent Armand Kendall (Into the Woods, Bat Boy), Capathia Jenkins (The Wiz Live on NBC, Newsies), Hugh Hysell (Perfect Crime, Big Gay Italian Wedding), Jeanne Montano (Cats, Forbidden Broadway), and original DeBlanks cast member Benjamin Holmes.
