Obituaries Broadway Veteran Victoria Mallory, Originator of Sondheim Musicals, Dies at 64 Broadway veteran Victoria Mallory died Aug. 30 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 64.

Mallory's Broadway debut was at Lincoln Center as Maria in the first revival of West Side Story. She was also seen on Broadway originating the role of Young Heidi in , and in the multi-Tony Award nominated production of A Little Night Music as Anne Egerman.

A stage veteran, Mallory appeared at many of the regional theaters across the nation as well as Off-Broadway and in featured roles on television on programs such as "Everwood," "Touched By An Angel" and six seasons as Leslie Brooks on "The Young And The Restless."

She received an Emmy nomination for her performance on the CBS musical special, "After Hours: Singin', Swingin', And All That Jazz."

She is survived by her husband, actor Mark Lambert (A Little Night Music), and daughter Lambert.
