Tony winner Ivo van Hove will direct a new revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons in London's West End, with performances to start November 14 at Wyndham's Theatre. The run will continue through February 7, 2026.
Starring will be two-time Tony winner Bryan Cranston as Joe Keller, with Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths) as Kate Keller and Paapa Essiedu (The Lazarus Project) as Chris Keller. Further casting is to be announced.
The revival will reunite Breaking Bad star Cranston with van Hove after their work on Network in the West End and on Broadway. Van Hove is also returning to the works of Miller, after winning Olivier and Tony Awards for his London and Broadway revivals of A View From the Bridge and directing a 2016 Broadway revival of The Crucible.
鈥淎rthur Miller, Ivo van Hove, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Paapa Essiedu鈥f there is something that I know beyond a shadow of doubt, is to surround yourself with the most talented people," says Cranston in a statement. "This group of creative artists has got me so excited to be a part of the All My Sons 肠辞尘辫补苍测.鈥
"I am thrilled to return to the West End to direct All My Sons and to reunite with the great Bryan Cranston," adds van Hove. "It is also a privilege to collaborate with the brilliant Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Paapa Essiedu, whose work I have long admired. We all share a deep reverence for Arthur Miller鈥檚 powerful storytelling, and bringing this profound play to life with such an extraordinary cast is truly a dream come true. All My Sons is a devastating exploration of guilt, responsibility, and the far-reaching consequences of our choices, especially in times of war. Its themes of personal integrity and moral reckoning remain as urgent and resonant today as ever."
Miller's first hit, All My Sons debuted to Tony-winning success on Broadway in 1947; the play follows a family haunted by the wartime loss of their son and the patriarch's troubling secret from his time building fighter engine parts. Since its original production, the work has become a stalwart of the theatre, getting Broadway revivals in 1987, 2008, and 2019; and West End revivals in 1981, 2010, and 2019.
