Regional News Cast Set for Finger Lakes Staging of Jason Robert Brown鈥檚 Parade The musical will be presented in July in Auburn, New York.

Casting has been announced for production of Jason Robert Brown鈥檚 award-winning musical Parade, which will be presented July 5鈥�26 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn, New York's Emerson Park.

Directed and choreographed by Brett Smock, the creative team also includes associate director-choreographer Robin Levine, music director Jeff Theiss, scenic designer Czerton Lim, lighting designer Jose Santiago, sound designer Kevin Heard, and costume designer Tiffany Howard.

The cast will be headed by Aaron Galligan-Stierle (The Phantom of the Opera, Ragtime, Dr. Seuss鈥� How the Grinch Stole Christmas) as Leo Frank and Kristin Wetherington (Aida) as Lucille Frank with Jamison Stern as Hugh Dorsey, Dave Schoonover as Governor Slaton, David Atkinson as Judge Roan/Old Soldier, Scott Guthrie as Britt Craig, Crystal Sha鈥檔ae as Minnie/Angela, Fergie L. Philippe as Jim Conley, Marcus Jordan as Newt Lee, Matthew Sheridan as Luther Rosser, Erin Katzker as Mrs. Phagan, and Jake Mills as Tom Watson.

The ensemble will feature Banji Aborisade, Mike Dinneen, Taylor Galvin, Clayton Howe, Abeba Isaac, Jana Kucera, Kyra Leeds, Justine Long, Lindsey Olson, Travis Przybylski, Adrien Swenson, CJ Roche, Alec Michael Ryan, Brendan Smith, and Alexander Zenoz, and the factory girls will be played by local actors Shannon Beel, Addy Whitener, Emma DeGroff, and Maddie VanRiper.

began previews on Broadway November 12, 1998, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. The show went on to win Tony Awards for Best Original Score (Brown) and Best Book of a Musical ().


The 2017 season also includes Guys and Dolls (June 7鈥�28), The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (August 2鈥�23), Ghost The Musical (August 30鈥揝eptember 16), and Always鈥atsy Cline (September 21鈥揙ctober 7).
