In Uncle Vanya, a distinguished elderly owner of a rural estate returns with a new, young wife, Yelena. Tensions run high, marriages reach their limits, confessions鈥攁nd vodka鈥攆low freely, and weapons are drawn.
The production also has scenic design by Robert Brill, costume design by Heather Freedman and Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Jen Shriever, and sound design by Darron West. Elisa Guthertz is the stage manager, Anthony Bullock is the assistant stage manager, and Trinity Wicklund is the stage management fellow.
Starring Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, the musical explored the complex relationship between cosmetics giants Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden.
