The Musical Theatre Guild will present Live, Laugh, Love: A Sondheim Celebration in Southern California next month. The Sondheim tribute, which follows a sold-out engagement last year, will play the Helene Galen Performing Arts Center in Rancho Mirage January 18, 2024, and the Colony Theatre in Burbank January 21, 2024.
Hosted by Jason Graae, the evening will feature performances of Sondheim favorites by members of the Musical Theatre Guild and students from David Green's Musical Theatre University, as well as special guest star Teri Ralston (A Little Night Music).
The lineup of performers includes Eydie Alyson, Eileen Barnett, Jennifer Bennett, Doug Carfrae, Barbara Carlton Heart, Will Collyer, Susan Edwards Martin, Melissa Fahn, Joshua Finkel, Tal Fox, Julie Garny茅, Ron Christopher Jones, Melissa Lyons, Tonoccus McClain, Kevin McMahon, Dana Meller, Lisa Picotte, Glenn Rosenblum, Brent Schindele, Leslie Stevens, Mary VanArsdel, Paul Wong, Robert Yacko, and David Zack.
The concert鈥攃onceived and written by Duane Poole鈥攚ill be directed by Lewis Wilkenfeld. Michael Collum and Brad Ellis will serve as music directors.
