August 25: Leslye Headland鈥檚 psychological thriller The Layover officially opens Off-Broadway with Vinyl star Annie Parisse and Broadway鈥檚 John Procaccino (Clybourne Park) among the cast. The new work takes place over Thanksgiving during an airport layover.
LAST CHANCE
August 28: J.T. Rogers鈥� epic political drama Oslo, which chronicles the secret talks that led to the 1993 peace agreement between Israel and the PLO, concludes its Off-Broadway debut. The acclaimed, Bartlett Sher-helmed staging is set to transfer to Broadway鈥檚 Vivian Beaumont Theater next spring with the original cast.
August 28: Fuerza Bruta, the popular, fast-paced show from Buenos Aires, ends its nine-year run Off-Broadway鈥攈aving played 3,004 performances.
September 4: An Act of God concludes its return limited engagement on Broadway starring Tony nominee and Emmy winner Sean Hayes in the title role. The comedy is written by God and 鈥渢ranscribed鈥� by multi-Emmy-winning Daily Show with Jon Stewart writer David Javerbaum.
September 4: Following over 1,000 performances at the Imperial Theatre, Cameron Mackintosh鈥檚 acclaimed production of Les Miserables closes on Broadway. A new U.S. tour of the musical will launch in 2017.
September 4: Broadway鈥檚 Tony-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time concludes its acclaimed run with Tyler Lea in the lead role. Simon Stephens鈥� drama has played 800 performances, making it one of the longest-running plays on the Great White Way during the 21st century.

August 28 & 31: In honor of the 60th anniversary of the King and I film, select theatres nationwide are screening the movie on the big screen with behind-the-scenes extras.
August 31: SummerStage, the free Central Park performing arts festival, pays tribute to the long-running, Tony-winning Broadway revival of Chicago鈥� which will celebrate its 20th year on Broadway this fall. Bianca Marroqu铆n and Lana Gordon star as Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, respectively.
