Emmy-nominated comedian and noted celebrity roaster Jeff Ross is taking his theatrical one-man show Take a Banana For the Ride on the road, ahead of a planned Broadway engagement. The show will play an eight-city summer tour presented by Hard Rock.

In the new solo showRoss offers audiences insight into his life as America鈥檚 Roastmaster. 鈥淓ver since my Aunt Bess took me to see Jackie Mason on Broadway when I was young, I鈥檝e daydreamed about performing my own classy and uncensored one-man show,鈥� says Ross in a statement. 鈥淚鈥檓 honored and excited by the opportunity to share my origin story of how I became the motherf*n Roastmaster General! This new show is designed to be a cathartic experience shared with others鈥擨 encourage you to bring friends that you care about, people that might be going through tough times. I will shake them out of it with an evening of uncensored jokes, uplifting stories, songs and even some live roasting of the bravest volunteers.鈥�

Take A Banana For The Ride will play Hard Rock venues in eight cities across the country this summer, from June 27-July 27. Stops include venues in Bristol, Virginia; Cincinnati, Ohio; Gary, Indiana; Rockford, Illinois; Atlantic City, New Jersey; Tampa, Florida; Orlando, Florida; and Hollywood, Florida.

    Following the touring engagements, Ross will make his Broadway debut when the show heads to New York for a limited engagement, with a theatre and dates to be announced. Take A Banana For The Ride is produced by Eric Nederlander, Robert Nederlander Jr., Marc Cornstein, and Tony Eisenberg, with ShowTown Productions serving as executive producer. The Hard Rock International tour is presented in association with Live Nation.
