On the seventh episode of 笔濒补测产颈濒濒鈥檚 new podcast The Broadway Cast, Broadway comedians Eric Petersen, Jenn Lyon, and Will Roland, shared stories of how they found comedy as children.
Petersen, who currently plays Dewey in Andrew Lloyd Webber鈥檚 School of Rock, says he realized he had a gift for comedy with his impression of a certain president. Similarly, Roland, who now stars as Jared in the Tony-winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen, discovered his talent for impressions and getting a laugh when he was about six or seven years old. Lyon, last seen on Broadway in Larry David鈥檚 Fish in the Dark, started even younger鈥攊n preschool. Her biggest gag took place during naptime.
