The stage has seen a few different manifestations of the infamous Frankenstein and his monster. The first Broadway production inspired by Mary Shelley鈥檚 story opened on January 4, 1981 at the Palace Theatre. The story has gone on to be recreated in Young Frankenstein, Frankenstein the Musical, and more.
