In a new video, the cast and crew of Disney鈥檚 Beauty and the Beast offer a sneak peak of what鈥檚 been happening behind the scenes of the making of the movie. The stars of the film鈥攚hich opens in theatres March 17鈥攊nclude Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Ian McKellen, and Emma Thompson.
Director Bill Condon speaks about wanting to live up to, and honor the iconic animated film. 鈥淚 just thought it was the most beautiful and perfect movie,鈥� Condon says in the video. 鈥淧art of it was this great opportunity to tell it [again] in a live-action, fully photo-real version, and to distinguish Belle again 25 years later as a 21st century heroine.鈥�
鈥淚t will remind you of all of the beauty of the original,鈥� comments Evans. 鈥淏ut also expand on it and give it more detail and more depth,鈥� adds Watson.
