Jordan Fisher, who has been seen on television as Doody in Grease: Live, as well as in Disney Channel鈥檚 Liv and Maddie, will join the Broadway cast of Hamilton in the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton.
Hamilton marks Fisher鈥檚 Broadway debut. He replaces original cast member Anthony Ramos, who exits the production November 20 to begin filming a lead in the Spike Lee Netflix series She鈥檚 Gotta Have It. Fisher begins performances November 22.
Fisher worked with Hamilton director Thomas Kail on Fox鈥檚 Emmy-winning live broadcast of Grease earlier this year. The Tony-winning musical was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Fisher is also known for his top 40 single 鈥淎ll About Us鈥� and his eponymous debut EP in August. His first full-length debut album will be released next year.
Hamilton stars Javier Mu帽oz as Alexander Hamilton, alongside Brandon Victor Dixon as Aaron Burr, Mandy Gonzalez as Angelica Schuyler, Christopher Jackson as George Washington (Nicholas Christopher begins performances November 15), Jasmine Cephas Jones as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, Lexi Lawson as Eliza Hamilton, Michael Luwoye as Mr. Mu帽oz鈥檚 alternate, Rory O鈥橫alley as King George III, and Seth Stewart as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson.
