The Broadway revival of Edward Albee鈥檚 Three Tall Women broke its own house record at the Golden Theatre in the week ending June 10, grossing $994,258 (106.6 percent of its potential). The Joe Mantello-helmed production is set to end its limited engagement later this month, but expect that number to climb even higher following Tony Award wins for stars Glenda Jackson and Laurie Metcalf.
The Band鈥檚 Visit inched closer to surpassing $1 million (a milestone it hasn鈥檛 hit since January), and a decisive victory at the Tonys鈥攚inning ten awards including Best Musical鈥攚ill surely lift the introspective musical back into the Millionaires Club.
