The Broadway premiere of Edward Albee鈥檚 Three Tall Women, starring Glenda Jackson, Laurie Metcalf, and Alison Pill, enjoyed a bump in its box office take with an increase of $14,485鈥攄elivering its highest weekly gross to date at $923,374 for the week ending May 13.

Meanwhile, Denzel Washington continues to draw crowds at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, where the revival of Eugene O鈥橬eill鈥檚 four-hour epic The Iceman Cometh broke its own box office record for the second week in a row, taking in $1,120,651鈥攏udging ahead of last week鈥檚 record of $1,108,336.

Both productions are in the Best Revival of a Play category. The Iceman Cometh earned seven additional nods (including one for headliner Denzel Washington), while Three Tall Women scored a total of six nominations, including Leading Actress in a Play for Glenda Jackson and Featured Actress in a Play for Laurie Metcalf.

Also breaking records last week were Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ($2,125,043), Mean Girls ($1,496,978), and My Fair Lady ($1,127,666).
