The collection, which has been gathered over the course of the past 30 years by Dan Willinger, is expected to earn between $400,000 and $500,000.
Broadway is no stranger to ventriloquist dummies. In 2006 ("Soap") brought The Two and Only! to the stage with help from his dummy Bob. The performance earned Johnson a 2007 Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event. This award made him the first and only ventriloquist to ever win, or be nominated for, a Tony Award.
