Social media influencer Trisha Paytas will come to Broadway next year with an original show Trisha Paytas鈥� Big Broadway Dream.
Playing Broadway's St. James Theatre February 3 at 8 PM, the show will feature Paytas joined by an ensemble and special guest stars, to be announced. The performance will also stream live via StagePilot.
"I couldn鈥檛 be more thrilled. Of all my dreams, this one is the biggest. I didn鈥檛 know how it would happen, but I always felt it would,鈥� says Paytas in a statement. 鈥淚鈥檓 thankful. Grateful. Humbled. I can鈥檛 wait to perform with so many talented people on a Broadway stage. Making my Broadway debut is what I鈥檓 looking forward to most in 2025. I hope people will find inspiration that you truly can do anything you want in life. I鈥檝e been told so many times this would never happen. And now it is! Hopefully it鈥檚 just the beginning of my New York adventure."
Paytas has spent her online life specializing in confessional-style video blogs, podcasts, and lifestyle content. Her open, bare-it-all style has regularly seen her under fire for statements critics have characterized as racist, antisemitic, homophobic, transphobic, and ableist, though Paytas has defended them as a promotional strategy. But despite (or perhaps because of) that messiness, Paytas has a devoted online following, including 1.3 million followers on Instagram, and almost 10 million on TikTok.
Trisha Paytas鈥檚 Big Broadway Dream will be directed by Skylar Fox and choreographed by Sarah Meahl. ShowTown Theatricals will serve as general manager. The production is fiscally sponsored by Producer Hub.
The production is produced by Kobi Kassal and Benson Drive Productions (George Strus) in association with Carson Gleberman and Caitlin Berg.
Tickets for both the in-person event and livestream will be available at December 13 at . Proceeds will benefit Entertainment Community Fund.
