The Gin Game by opened at the John Golden Theatre October 6, 1977. The play, directed by , is about a frustrated couple鈥� and 鈥攊n a nursing home who find themselves playing a not-too-friendly game of cards. The show ran for 517 performances. Cronyn and Tandy reprised their roles in a London production in 1979, which ran for eight weeks.
