Besides becoming a top recording artist and cultural icon with such hit songs as 鈥淟ike A Virgin鈥� and 鈥淗oliday鈥� and movies like Desperately Seeking Susan during the 1980s, Madonna also starred on Broadway in 鈥檚 Speed-the-Plow. The Lincoln Center production played the Royale Theatre May 3鈥揇ecember 31, 1988, and also starred Joe Mantegna and Ron Silver under the direction of Gregory Mosher.
