Leading the cast of Domesticated is "21 Grams" actor Tom Irwin, an ensemble member since 1979 who has performed in more than 50 Steppenwolf productions, alongside fellow Chicago theatre veteran , who has performed at both the Goodman and Steppenwolf theatres.
Rounding out the Domesticated cast are Emily Chang, Esteban Andres Cruz, Meighan Gerachis, , Beth Lacke, Millie Langford, Melanie Neilan, Meg Thalken and Karen Woditsch. The production is scheduled to run Dec. 3-Feb. 7, 2016.
In Norris' dark comedy, Irwin and Fisher play a political couple in the midst of a sex scandal. It is billed as a "scathing, wildly entertaining play that investigates gender politics, modern marriage and the sexual mysteries of the animal kingdom."
Steppenwolf has also announced complete casting for The Flick, set to play Feb. 4-May 8, 2016. The four actors tapped to play Baker's acclaimed work are Will Allan, , Travis Turner and , who made her Broadway debut this spring in .
The Flick, which is currently being revived Off-Broadway at the Barrow Street Theatre, takes place in a quiet, run-down movie house, where three disgruntled employees pass the time with cinema trivia and the occasional sharing of their hopes and dreams.
