Cabaret & Concert News Matt Doyle Will Say Bon Voyage at the Beechman

The Tony winner will offer three shows at the newly renovated cabaret venue.

Tony winner Matt Doyle, who can be seen Off-Broadway in Conversations With Mother through May 11, will subsequently perform three shows at the newly renovated Laurie Beechman Theatre.

The Company star will offer Matt Doyle: Bon Voyage at the Manhattan venue May 17 at 9:30 PM, May 18 at 9:30 PM, and June 6 at 9:30 PM. Doyle will be joined by music director Evan Zavada.

"Before he sets sail for an exciting overseas project," press note state, "Doyle returns to the New York stage for one final bow鈥攁nd a heartfelt celebration of his two-decade journey in the city that made him a star."

Attendees can expect to hear songs from the pop and musical theatre canon that have shaped Doyle's career, plus stories from his time on Broadway and beyond. This will be the last chance to see Doyle stateside in 2025.

In a statement Doyle shared, 鈥淣ew York has given me everything鈥攎y career, my community, my home. Before I begin this next chapter abroad, I wanted to return to the stage one more time, to sing the songs that have carried me and thank the city that鈥檚 meant so much to me.鈥�

Doyle earned the Tony for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance as Jamie in the revival of Company. He also received the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League Awards for the role. His other Broadway credits include Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie, War Horse, and The Book of Mormon. Off-Broadway, he鈥檚 starred in Little Shop of Horrors and Conversations With Mother.
