News Meghann Fahy, Jennifer Ikeda, and Molly Ranson Tapped for MTC鈥檚 Linda Full casting has been announced for the American premiere of Penelope Skinner鈥檚 newest drama.

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced complete casting for the American premiere of Linda, a new play by The Ruins of Civilization playwright Penelope Skinner, directed by artistic director Lynne Meadow.

Performances are scheduled to begin February 7, 2017, with an official opening night set for February 28 at MTC at New York City Center 鈥� Stage I, located at 131 West 55th Street, New York.

The cast of Linda will feature Olivier Award winner Janie Dee (Comic Potential, Hand To God) in the title role; Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal, Lost Girls ) as Stevie; Molly Griggs (Carnegie Mellon University) as Amy; Jennifer Ikeda (Vietgone, Top Girls) as Alice; Maurice Jones (The Cherry Orchard, Troilus and Cressida) as Luke; Donald Sage Mackay (stop.reset.at, Modern Family) as Neil; Molly Ranson (Fish in the Dark, Bad Jews) as Bridget; and John C. Vennema (The Freedom of The City, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) as Dave.

Dee stars as Linda Wilde, an award-winning senior executive as well as a busy wife and mother. 鈥淲hen she pitches a revolutionary concept that could change the way the world looks at women of a certain age, she finds herself fighting for her own relevance as every part of her carefully considered life starts to show cracks,鈥� read MTC production notes. The theatre bills the new work as 鈥渢imely, moving and fiercely funny.鈥�

The creative team for Linda includes Walt Spangler (scenic design), Jennifer Von Mayrhauser (costume design), Jason Lyons (lighting design), Fitz Patton (sound design), and Ben Furey (dialect coach).
