Oscar-winning filmmaker and author Michael Moore and Tony-winning director Michael Mayer both received Sardi's portraits September 21.
Moore made his theatrical debut with his solo show , which opened August 10 at Broadway's Belasco Theatre . The show works with the politically-charged personality to create a piece that takes aim at the current administration and its policies, sheds light on personal tales from Moore's life and career, and playfully interacts with (and quizzes) the audience.
