Jason Robert Brown, the Tony Award-winning songwriter who has written numerous songs for social change, will premiere a new tune at the November 9 performance of Kristin Chenoweth’s My Love Letter To Broadway, the day following the results of the Presidential election. It's titled “Hope.�
Brown made the announcement in a newsletter to fans, which included a link to he posted to Soundcloud. He wrote, “You can listen to it here. Deep breath, everyone. This is not going to be an easy ride.�

Chenoweth’s solo concert runs through November 13 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre; .
According to production notes, Chenoweth performs “a handpicked selection of musical theatre favorites, including songs from her [new] album The Art of Elegance, her first album of American Songbook classics. An intimate evening of romance, glamour and laughter.�
Chenoweth won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in the 1999 revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and created the role of Glinda in (Tony nomination).
