Following the screenings, excerpts will be shown from a 1988 Museum of Broadcasting seminar with Mary Martin, in which she reminisces about the telecast of Peter Pan.
In 1954 Mary Martin created the title role in Peter Pan in a Broadway production staged and choreographed by , with original music and lyrics by and , and additional music and lyrics (including “Neverland�) by , and . This videotaped telecast reunites Martin, and others from the Broadway production, including , and Joe E. Marks. It was directed for television by .
