Benjamin Scheuer, the singer-songwriter known to theatre fans for his award-winning Off-Broadway solo show The Lion, will by joined by Tony nominee Micaela Diamond at his March 20 concert at the Gramercy Theatre.
Diamond was Tony-nominated for her performance as Lucille
Frank in the Broadway revival of Parade. She made her Broadway debut as Babe, the
youngest Cher, in The Cher Show. Other appearances include Sondheim鈥檚
final musical, Here We Are; The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical; and Ethan Coen鈥檚 A Play Is a Poem. Her screen credits include Grotesquerie, Elsbeth, The Gilded Age, Up Here, Jesus Christ Superstar Live, and tick, tick鈥� BOOM!
Audiences at the upcoming concert can expect to hear songs from The Lion; Scheuer's new solo show, A Mountain for Elodie; and more.
Scheuer won a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding
Solo Performance and an Off-West End Award for Best New Musical for The Lion.
