鈥淎s we continue our happy partnership with L鈥橝lliance New York, and plan for our spring production of Moliere鈥檚 last great comedy, The Imaginary Invalid, it seems only fitting that we should share a raucous Revelation Reading of what many consider to be Moliere鈥檚 masterpiece to the stage: The Misanthrope in a new version by Martin Crimp," RBT founder and Artistic Director Jesse Berger said in a statement. "Featuring an estimable cast of some of New York's finest actors under the inspired direction of our long-time collaborator Marc Vietor, this is a rare chance to hear this romantic tragicomedy light up a cold winter鈥檚 night with the heat of passion and wit.鈥
