Last month, the London production of Tina鈥擳he Tina Turner Musical at the Aldwych Theatre welcomed several new cast members, including Zoe Birkett (The Witches, Moulin Rouge! The Musical), who now shares the title role with Karis Anderson.
Olivier nominee Rolan Bell (Memphis, The Play That Goes Wrong) also joined the show in the role of Ike Turner. The London company also welcomed Grace Wylde as Tina鈥檚 sister Alline Bullock, Daniel Haswell as Tina鈥檚 father Richard Bullock, Maddison Tyson as Tina鈥檚 first love Raymond Hill, and Charlotte St. Croix as the Standby Tina Turner.
Continuing in their roles are Mark Anderson as record producer Phil Spector and lyricist Terry Britten, Jonathan Carlton as record company marketing manager Erwin Bach, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Tina鈥檚 grandmother GG, Harry Harrington as Tina鈥檚 manager Roger Davies, Emma Hatton as Ike and Tina鈥檚 manager Rhonda Graam, and Carole Stennett as Tina鈥檚 mother Zelma.
Ensemble members include Sarah Freer as Lorraine, Lloyd Gorman as Carpenter, Angelis Hunt as Tina鈥檚 son Ronnie, Joey James as Tina鈥檚 son Craig, and Ria Turner as Toni; the Ikettes are played by Morgan Broome, Equiana Givans, and Ohaana Greaves with swings Jenna Bonner, Tr茅 Copeland-Williams, Abiola Efunshile, Jordan Louis-Fernand, Marisha Morgan, Dan O鈥橞rien, Curtis Scott, Ellie Seaton, Kirsty Anne Shaw, and Samuel J Weir.
In the children鈥檚 cast, Azalea Harris, Elsa-Grace Waigo, and Ezmai Robinson share the role of Young Anna Mae Bullock, while Kennedy-May McLeary, Amira Skerritt, and Alaya Scotland Thomas play Young Alline Bullock and Young Craig.

Based on the life of Grammy winner Tina Turner and produced in association with Turner, Tina鈥擳he Tina Turner Musical
received its world premiere in April 2018 at the Aldwych Theatre. The
Broadway production opened in 2019 and played its final performance at
the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre August 14, 2022.
Directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins, the musical is choreographed by Anthony van Laast with set and costume designs by Mark Thompson, musical supervision by Nicholas Skilbeck, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound by Nevin Steinberg, projection design by Jeff Sugg, and orchestrations by Ethan Popp.
