Gaten Matarazzo, Maya Hawke, Finn Wolfhard, and more came out to celebrate Sadie Sink in her latest Broadway outing April 14.

John Proctor is the Villain opened on Broadway at the Booth Theatre April 14, and photos from the star-studded event are now on view.

Starring Sadie Sink as Shelby Holcomb, the production has drawn attention from the best of both the stage and the screen, with Sink's Stranger Things costars Gaten Matarazzo, Maya Hawke, and Finn Wolfhard coming out to celebrate her, alongside Richard Kind, Reece Feldman, Constance Wu, Jim Parsons, and more. The new play by Kimberly Belflower is in a limited engagement through July 6. The play follows a group of high schoolers who are assigned The Crucible to read in class, and the feminist questions they have while dissecting the play in the wake of the #MeToo movement.

Sink leads the production, with Nihar Duvvuri as Mason Adams, Tony winner Gabriel Ebert as Carter Smith, Molly Griggs as Bailey Gallagher, Maggie Kuntz as Ivy Watkins, Hagan Oliveras as Lee Turner, Morgan Scott as Nell Shaw, Fina Strazza as Beth Powell, and Amalia Yoo as Raelynn Nix. The production understudies are Noah Pacht, Fiona Robberson, Shian Tomlinson, Garrett Young, and Victoria Vourkoutiotis.

John Proctor Is the Villain was commissioned by The Farm Theater in 2017. Following workshops at Farm Theater and Ojai Playwrights Conference, the play premiered at Centre College in 2018, and has since been produced at Furman University, Rollins College, Washington D.C.'s Studio Theatre, and Boston's Huntington.

Taymor's creative team includes scenic designer AMP featuring Teresa Williams, costume designer Sarah Laux, lighting designer Natasha Katz, sound designer Palmer Hefferan, projection designer Hannah Wasileski, movement director Tilly Evans-Krueger, hair, wig and make-up design by J. Jared Janas, and intimacy coordinator Ann James. Gigi Buffington serves as voice and dialect coach. Casting is by Taylor Williams.

Sue Wagner, John Johnson, John Mara Jr., Runyonland, and Eric Falkenstein are producing.
