Cody Simpson makes his Broadway debut as con artist Dmitry, who is looking for a girl to play the part of the Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov so that he can take home the reward from her grandmother the Dowager. Of course, everything changes when he meets the sweet yet scrappy Anya.
Born in Australia, Simpson began recording covers of his favorite pop tunes and posting them to YouTube, where he was discovered as a rising star. He has recorded albums such as Coast to Coast, which reached number 12 on the Billboard 200, and appeared as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. Now he brings his chops as a triple threat to the Broadhurst Theatre eight shows a week.
