The international hit musical Les Mis茅rables, currently back on Broadway, tells the story of relentless policeman Javert's decades-long pursuit of the escaped convict Jean Valjean. Valjean becomes a mayor, agrees to raise the daughter of the dying Fantine and joins the fight for freedom. Les Miz is based on 's epic novel. Perhaps a Les Miz sequel would include an afterlife love story for 脡ponine or an earthbound one for Marius and Cosette.

Maybe a sequel would show how the Bottom Brothers became the creative minds behind the first jukebox musical.

Perhaps a sequel would show what happened to poor Tobias.
