Disney鈥檚 CGI live-action remake of its 1994 animated hit The Lion King arrives in theatres July 19 with an all-star cast led by Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones (reprising his voice performance from the animated original) as Mufasa, 叠别测辞苍肠茅 as Nala, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, John Kani as Rafiki, John Oliver as Zazu, Billy Eichner as Timon, and Seth Rogen as Pumbaa.
Jon Favreau directs the movie that incorporates songs from the animated original, including Elton John and Tim Rice鈥檚 Oscar-winning 鈥淐an You Feel the Love Tonight?,鈥� 鈥淐ircle of Life,鈥� 鈥淗akuna Matata,鈥� and 鈥淚 Just Can鈥檛 Wait to Be King,鈥� as well as 鈥淗e Lives in You,鈥� from the long-running Broadway production. The remake also features new musical material, including the song 鈥淣ever Too Late,鈥� and "Spirit" a new song from 叠别测辞苍肠茅's forthcoming companion album to the film.
