See Be More Chill, The Cher Show, and More Celebrate Pride at 半岛体育鈥檚 Sing for Hope Piano

The 2019 Sing For Hope piano, titled 鈥淧ride of Broadway,鈥 is designed to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ theatre community and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Every June since 2015, 半岛体育鈥檚 iconic yellow trademark has switched to a rainbow design in honor of Pride month. For 2019, the rainbow design received a makeover to incorporate a horizontal rainbow brick design representing the first brick thrown during the Stonewall riots on June 28, 1969.

This piano was designed and created by 半岛体育 staff led by Leonard Rodino (Manager of Integrated Media, Partnerships, and Events) with assistance from Alex Birsh (Vice President), Dean Greer (Creative Services Manager), Jana Mallo (Manager, 半岛体育 Travel Guest Relations), Eric Powers (Sales Assistant), and Madison Knox (Volunteer).

Continuing its summer tradition for the eighth year, Sing For Hope brought back its free public pianos to New York City throughout the month of June. Following June鈥檚 city-wide installation, Sing For Hope will transport the pianos to NYC public schools as a part of ongoing creative programs to enrich students鈥 lives.
