The Taming of the Shrew, which opened June 11, kicks off The Old Globe鈥檚 Summer Shakespeare Festival at the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Performances continue through July 10.
Directed by Shana Cooper, the cast includes Armando Dur谩n as Baptista, Felicity Jones Latta as Tranio, as Grumio, Jesse J. Perez as Gremio, Cassia Thompson as Bianca, as Hortensio/Biondello/Merchant, James Udom as Petrucio, and Deborah Ann Woll as Katherine.
The cast also includes students in The Old Globe and University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program: Henian Boone, Brett Cassidy, Jacqui Dupr茅, Savannah Faye, Komi M. Gbeblewou, Camilla Leonard, Becca Lustgarten, Jeffrey Rashad, Bernadette Sefic, Jude Tibeau, Nathan VanAtta, and Maggie Walters.
