Amas Musical Theatre and the Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present developmental readings of the new musical Dubbo Championship Wrestling March 24鈥�25 in Manhattan.
Will Nunziata will direct a cast that includes Stacie Bono, Natalie Joy Johnson, David Josefsberg, Susie Mosher, Analise Scarpaci, Marty Thomas, and Cole Thompson.
Penned by Daniel Cullen and James Cullen, the musical follows an angry high schooler, who picks the wrong fight at school and is sent back to her rural hometown, where she faces a battle for her struggling family business, Dubbo Championship Wrestling.

Dubbo Championship Wrestling was chosen by the entire finalist jury as the winner of the Eric H. Weinberger Emerging Librettist Award. The upcoming readings will also have musical direction by Andy Peterson. Amanda Stewart is the stage manager.
