Tony winners Sutton Foster and Aaron Tveit, who recently shared the stage in the hit revival of Sweeney Todd, will host the 2024 Drama Desk Awards, set for June 10 at 6:15 PM at the NYU Skirball Center.
The Drama Desk Awards鈥攖he only major New York City theatre awards for which productions on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off-Broadway compete against each other in the same categories鈥攁re voted on and bestowed by theatre critics, journalists, editors, and publishers covering theatre.
鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted Sutton Foster and Aaron Tveit are hosting this year鈥檚 Awards to toast this theatre season of abundance,鈥� said Drama Desk co-presidents David Barbour and Charles Wright in a joint statement. 鈥淥ur audience is in for a real treat!鈥�
As was the case last year, all performance categories are gender-free. Nominees were announced April 29. As previously reported, Tony winner Nathan Lane will receive the Harold S. Prince Award, and Lincoln Center鈥檚 Andr茅 Bishop will receive the William Wolf Award.

Lorin Latarro (The Who鈥檚 Tommy) will direct the upcoming awards ceremony, which will be written by and Steve Rosen and David Rossmer (The Other Josh Cohen). The evening will also feature musical direction by Annbritt duChateau, lighting design by Jeremy Cunningham, sound design by Daniel Gerhard, and video design by Ido Levran.
Joshua Helman is the technical supervisor, and Julia Jones is the production stage manager.
