Lulu Fall, an ensemblist from last season鈥檚 Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, has released an album with her group The Kris Johnson Group Featuring Lulu Fall.
The album, The Unpaved Road, is a concept album that guides listeners on a 鈥渕elodic journey.鈥�
Tracks cover everything from Fall鈥檚 connection to her home country in 鈥淪enegal鈥� to her struggle with outer beauty in 鈥淧retty for a Dark Girl.鈥� A soloist with the Count Basie Orchestra, trumpeter Kris Johnson adds his signature sound and expertise to the music. Drawing on styles such as jazz, soul, and R&B, the ten-piece group released the album August 22.
