Matthew Lombardo's new, semi-autobiographical play Conversations With Mother officially opened at Off-Broadway's Theatre 555 February 23, and the reviews are in. See what critics are saying about the show, which continues through May 11, below.
Starring in the two-hander are The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Caroline Aaron and Company Tony winner Matt Doyle. Understudies Antoinette LaVecchia and John Jeffrey Martin round out the company. Casting is by Nick Peciaro.
The semi-autobiographical work follows Italian matriarch Maria Collavechio and her gay son over five decades.
