Sunday, Sept. 6: return to The Carlyle Hotel's Bemelmans Bar for a three-month Sunday-night residency, with a repertoire that now includes newly added numbers. The musical duo are well-known for their impromptu collaborations with the showbiz stars who attend performances; past guests have included , , Bono, Marilyn Maye, Jane Monheit and . Bar seating starts at $15; 9 PM. 

Monday, Sept. 7: The Broadway at Birdland concert series continues with , celebrating American jazz composer Billy Strayhorn, who collaborated with for nearly 30 years. De Haas, whose Broadway credits include Rent, and , will bring to life such Strayhorn classics as "Take the 'A' Train," "Chelsea Bridge" and "Lush Life." Tickets are $30; 7 PM.

Tuesday, Sept. 8: Harvard grads and Yale grads go head-to-head at 54 Below for , an evening of competition unlike any other. Harvard grads sing the songs of famous alums , and Tom Lehrer, while Yale retaliates with the talents of , Bobby Lopez and . "SNL"'s sits in as guest judge - may the best songs win! Tickets start at $25; 9:30 PM. 

Wednesday, Sept. 9: returns to Joe's Pub for its annual celebration of adventurous dance and choreography. Now in its 20th year, the festival blends an eclectic mix of dance genres, showcasing New York's best emerging and established choreographers. Performances run through Sept. 12, with an encore event Sept. 24. Tickets are $20; 7 PM. 

Thursday, Sept. 10: Tony and Golden Globe winner  takes the 54 Below stage for four concerts this month, with shows Sept. 7 and 10-12. The Broadway vet performs her favorites from the Great White Way, jazz classics and other standards. Known the world over for her leading role in the hit TV series "Alice," her Broadway career spans over 50 years, making her a long-time favorite on the cabaret scene. Tickets start at $50; 7 PM.  Following her sold-out production of , Bridget Everett returns to Joe's Pub with her band, The Tender Moments, for an evening of cabaret, chardonnay and personal stories. $25; 9:30 PM. 

Friday, Sept. 11: Nicholas Guest brings his comedic solo concert show to 54 Below for its New York premiere. The "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" and "Mad Men" actor explores his youthful search for identity through live music, poetry and performance. Through the telling of his own personal journey, Guest brings to life over 20 entertaining characters from around the globe. A second show will be performed Sept 12. Tickets begin at $30; 9:30 PM. 

Saturday, Sept. 12: Following sold-out runs at The Duplex and The Metropolitan Room, cabaret performer Charlie Johnson brings his new act, , to 54 Below. Johnson mixes anecdotes, stand up and songs. Tickets start at $15; 11:30 PM.
