LuPone, Everett, and the Young People's Chorus of New York City joined forces on Bob Dylan's "Forever Young."

Three-time Tony winner Patti LuPone鈥攚ho will join Mia Farrow in The Roommate on Broadway beginning August 29鈥攇ot the surprise of her life when longtime friend Bridget Everett stepped onto the Carnegie Hall in April to join her for a duet of "Forever Young."

Somebody Somewhere creator and star Everett was dressed all in pink as she joined LuPone and the Young People's Chorus of New York City to belt out the Bob Dylan classic. Watch LuPone's joyful reaction and the performance in the video above.

Joseph Thalken was the music director and music supervisor for the April concert, titled A Life in Notes. Conceived and directed by Tony winner Scott Wittman, LuPone's latest act was written by Jeffrey Richman with string instrumentalist Brad Phillips.

In her new concert act, the stage and screen star performs an array of songs that are touchstones and reflections on her life growing up in America鈥攁s a young girl during the burgeoning rock-and-roll scene of the '50s, to coming of age in the politically and socially turbulent '60s, and eventually achieving success on all fronts.

Patti LuPone: A Life in Notes also featured lighting design by John Hastings and sound design by Mark Fiore. Richard Hester was production supervisor.

LuPone won Tonys for her performances in Evita, the 2008 revival of Gypsy, and the 2021 revival of Company; she won her first Olivier Award for her work in both The Cradle Will Rock and Les Mis茅rables, and her second Olivier for the 2019 London revival of Company.
