It's been a pretty great morning for the cast and creators of Broadway's Maybe Happy Ending. The show tied with Buena Vista Social Club and Death Becomes Her to become the most Tony-nominated production of the season. It got 10 nominations, including Best Musical and Best Leading Actor in a Musical, for Darren Criss.

And though reactions to this morning's nominations have been rolling in all day, Maybe Happy Ending captured the exact moment they found out as the cast was backstage at Today, where they were prepping for a performance. See the moment they found out they were Best Musical nominees in the Instagram post below.

Later that morning, stars Criss and Helen J Shen performed "The Rainy Day We Met" from the Tony-nominated Will Aronson-Hue Park score, which you can watch below!

Maybe Happy Ending continues its run at the Belasco Theatre, where it opened November 12, 2024.
