Another Netflix series, another theatre-stacked cast. Check out the new trailer above for Inventing Anna, about the German heiress who scammed New York鈥檚 social scene, featuring Anna Chlumsky, Katie Lowes, Anna Deavere Smith, James Cusati-Moyer, and more.
The show stars Emmy winner Julia Garner as Anna Delvey, with Broadway alum Chlumsky as the journalist who uncovers the social climber鈥檚 true story and motives.
As , the cast includes Arian Moayed as Todd, Delvey's lawyer; Smith as Maud, another journalist; Lowes as Rachel, a woman whose blind worship of Delvey almost costs her everything; and Cusati-Moyer as stylist and fashion director Val. Also starring are Anders Holm, Jeff Perry, Terry Kinney, Laverne Cox, and Alexis Floyd.
Inventing Anna is produced by Shonda Rhimes under her Shondaland banner, and will drop on the streamer February 22. The series is inspired by the New York Magazine article 鈥淗ow an Aspiring 鈥業t鈥� Girl Tricked New York鈥檚 Party People鈥攁nd its Banks鈥� by Jessica Pressler, who also serves as a producer.
