🎭 CASTING CALL 🎭

Narrows Community Theater's Summer Youth production of "Hairspray" is seeking performers ages 8-18 for:

• SEAWEED J. STUBBS (Lead role) - Motormouth Maybelle's son and a talented dancer on The Corny Collins Show. Seaweed is Tracy's classmate and friend, who falls in love with Penny. Seaweed is discriminated against due to his skin color, but is very talented in both song and dance. Seaweed performs in 4+ numbers. Seaweed should be played by a Black actor.
• DYNAMITES (Ensemble) - The Dynamites consist of Judine, Kamilah and Shayna. The Dynamites are a talented vocal trio who are featured in many numbers and usually in tight harmony.

Show dates: Sept 5-7 & Sept 12-14 Location: Bay Ridge, Brooklyn
