Production Manager - Finding Freedom Remount:


Job Pay: $10,000 Fee


The Production Manager will serve as the PM during the remount of the Production to premiere at the Gaillard Center in January of 2026 and mounted as a tour in the fall of 2026. The Production Manager is expected to oversee the creation of a tourable TYA production, expected to pack into a 20-foot box truck and be loaded into multiple venues within 1 four hour call.


This person will also be responsible for creating a tour technical rider specific to the production, as well as documenting and updating pre-show, run of show, and touring paperwork. Excellent communication, management and collaboration skills are a must. Experience with stage automation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat are preferred. 1-3 years experience preferred.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly production meetings beginning in May 2025;

  • Create and maintain a production schedule for production remount and propose a schedule for load ins for the future tour;

  • Maintaining communication with all production designers, costume shops, set build shops, theatres, etc.;

  • Work with Production Stage Manager to organize and schedule meetings for cast, designers, and production staff as required;

  • Work closely with Director, Producer, and Designers to make decisions regarding set, costume, lighting and other aspects of production to ensure designs and deliverables are on time and within the budget of the production;

  • Facilitating technical rentals including sound and lighting equipment as needed for the production;

  • Working closely with the Production Studio to bid out and fabricate the set based on production schedule and timelines, inclusive of visits to the shop during the scenic build;

  • Ensure decisions made regarding the set and designs are carried out safely;

  • Maintain production budgets and monitor accurate expenses;

  • Facilitate and complete the creation of the Tour Technical Rider inclusive of all design, technical, and company needs as necessary for presentation of the performance;

  • Attend all rehearsals and performances as necessary.

  • August, 2025 - Final Scenic Designs

  • September 1, 2025 - November 1, 2025 - Scenic/Costume Build Period

  • January 5 - 23, 2026 - Rehearsal Period

  • January 24 - 28, 2026 - Tech Rehearsals

  • January 30 - February 2, 2026 - Performances

  • February 2 - February 6, 2026 - Wrap up production
