DESCRIPTION

Aurora Productions is seeking Production Managers and Deputy Production Managers to join our growing team as we head into an exciting 2025/2026 Theatrical season. Ideal candidates are highly organized and motivated, with experience in commercial theatre. Aurora鈥檚 current projects include Broadway, Off-Broadway, Special Events & Experiences and 1^st National Tours.

Production Managers and Deputy Production Managers work with Aurora鈥檚 principals on technical oversight, focusing on the bid process, shop build, load in, and teching process in the theatres as well as labor contracting, budgeting, scheduling, maintenance and supervision for multiple productions each season.

Qualifications:

路 Previous experience in production, stage, and/or facilities management is required.

路 Working understanding of the operations of Carpentry/Rigging; Automation; Lighting; Sound; Props; Costumes.

路 Skilled in time management, prioritizing tasks, communication, negotiation, and creative problem solving.

路 Understands the intricacies of working in venues of all shapes and sizes and is comfortable both in a traditional and experiential, theatrical setting.

路 Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment, flexibility, and a 鈥渢eam player鈥� sensibility.

路 Working knowledge of the local one stagehand contract with the Broadway League and Nederlander Theatres and the IATSE pink contract both on paper and in practice for Broadway and Touring Productions preferred.

路 Must be able to read and evaluate technical drawings. AutoCAD knowledge preferred.

路 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

路 Prior shop experience a plus.
