The Yale Dramatic Association is looking to hire a Sound Designer for our Fall 2025 Mainstage production of Urinetown by Greg Kotis and Mark Hollmann. The Sound Designer will work closely with the producer Dhruv Bhalla and director Ashley Rodbro as well as a cast and crew of students to put on the show. The show will run for 4 performances from November 19-22, 2025 in the University Theater, which is a 640-seat venue on the campus of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
The salary for the Sound Designer is $2,800. Applications will be accepted until Saturday, April 12th, 2025 on the google form below. We are trying to understand your interest in the show and your initial artistic vision as well as how and why you want to work with students.
The Yale University Dramatic Association (the Dramat) is an undergraduate organization at Yale College that operates as a student-run, non-profit production company. The organization produces six shows each academic year and is maintained by its Executive Board, made up of eleven students who collectively serve as the Dramat鈥檚 artistic and managing directors.
